SARA BERKI WITH SPECIAL GUEST WILLIAM ALEXANDER

Friday, 1 May

Sara Berki – Live at The Regent Theatre, Richmond with her band and special guest William Alexander, plus local support.

Born in Bundaberg QLD and raised in the Southern Highlands of NSW, Sara Berki now calls the Hawkesbury home and she is proud & excited to bring her full touring band to the newly refurbished Regent Theatre in Richmond, for Great Southern Nights.

Sara’s combination of timeless storytelling with her modern country sensibilities and her engaging presence have helped establish her as one of the most exciting and prolific new artists in country music. Less than four years on from the release of her debut single, Sara has grown her catalogue to twenty-one songs released, with over 10 million music streams and 11 million video views to date.

Special guest on this show will be, William Alexander, one of the freshest new talents in the world of traditional Australian country music. With a rich voice that commands attention, and a deep respect for the music’s legacy, this young singer-songwriter pours soul and storytelling into every one of his heartfelt performances. This show follows hot on the heels of a highly successful Tamworth Country Music Festivalfor William, where he won his first Golden Guitar Award for Bush Ballad of the Year for his song ‘Wild Roan Brumby’ (co-written with Pete Denahy).

Sara will also be on the hunt for a local emerging artist to open the show to complete what is sure to be a magic night at the iconic The Regent Theatre.
